We will only collect special categories of data or children’s data from you (to the extent they are contained in any material you provide us for translation purposes), if you have voluntarily provided us with this data or for the purposes of providing our services or ancillary services.
We use freelance linguists to assist in the process of translation. They may receive, as part of the assignment, the name of the client they are working on but no personal data about that client, unless such contact information is needed to perform the assignment (including but not limited to on-site interpretation projects or onsite document review). These freelance linguists may also have access to any personal data within the source documents and reference material sent to them for translation.
However, in all cases, the freelance linguists will be subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
We also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
